Excellent thoughts here-thank you! I am continually amazed at how the Psalms illuminate the mysteries of Christ and His Mystical Body the Church. Church Fathers such as St. Augustine read the Psalms as principally about Christ and His Body, and thus we have our Lord praying the very Psalms which reveal Him, which is an incredible thing to contemplate.
Love this! I really have a soft spot with the responsorial psalms from the mass. It encapsulates the whole theme of the day’s readings
